When you read this you’ll probably be wondering what I am about to write; I was when I lifted up my pen and held it over the paper; a blank page, a pen freshly filled with ink and a few ideas floating about. After a few moments an idea struck me about what to put down on the paper for you to read wherever you may be; a library, on the bus, train, waiting room or even on the loo!
This is the first tale from the table.
During a recent treatment a client asked me what exactly CST is and how did it make them feel different. I pondered on this and didn’t want to give the usual answer that’s stored in the memory banks but instead I tried to get them to answer their own question:
“What does this ‘different’ feel like?” I asked,
“Sort of lighter in my body.” I didn’t say anything but let them continue in their own time.
“Freer, especially where your hand was a minute ago and where it is now,” they continued.
How light are you feeling now? I asked.
“Mmm like a kids balloon that’s about to blow away?”
“Is that good or bad?”
“It’s good. Like the balloon was the thing that was causing the tension and problem, but now is happily floating away!”.
What do you think CST is I asked the client.
“Letting go of balloons,” was the reply.
Well, how did it make them feel different? Maybe because they felt lighter.
It was the last treatment after a busy day so I lay on the couch: It was lovely and warm. I wondered how many balloons I had to let go of.
